The Wood County Jail is a full-service, minimum to maximum security facility located in Bowling Green, Ohio. The facility houses inmates who have been arrested for misdemeanor and felony crimes. The inmates are awaiting trial, serving out their sentence, awaiting transport to state prison or awaiting expedition to the state or county they were wanted in. The jail has a capacity of 224 inmates. The jail provides medical and mental health care when needed to the inmates. The jail also provides services to the inmates such as GED classes, AA, Anger Management and religious studies. Current inmates can be viewed on the facility’s jail roster.

How to Send Mail or Package
Inmates are allowed to receive mail from their friends and family members while incarcerated. All incoming mail will be opened and searched for contraband. No packages of any kind are accepted at the jail.

Visitation Hours
Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while incarcerated. All visits are conducted via a video monitoring system. Accounts must be made on the Securus Technologies website. Once an account is made, visits can be scheduled. Visits can be scheduled up to 21 days in advance.

The Wood County Jail has a public inmate roster. The roster lists all current inmates in alphabetical order. The inmate’s name, mugshot, identifying features, charges, bond amount and next court date is listed.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has a most wanted list. The list features all fugitives within the county. The fugitive’s name, charges, type of warrant, last known address and agency the warrant was issued through is made public.
