All persons arrested by the Bellevue Police Department are transported to the Huron County Jail. The Huron County Jail is a minimum to maximum security facility located in Norwalk, Ohio. The jail houses inmates who have been charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses. All inmates in the jail are either awaiting trial, serving their sentence, or awaiting transport to state or federal prison.
Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while incarcerated. Inmates receive 1 thirty minute visit per week. All visitors must be on an approved list. Visitation days and times are based on where the inmate is housed within the jail.
