All persons arrested by the Portsmouth Police Department are transported to the Scioto County Jail. The Scioto County Jail is a full-service, minimum to maximum security facility located in Portsmouth, Ohio. The jail houses female and male adult offenders who have been arrested and charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses.
