All persons arrested by the Clayton Police Department are transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The Montgomery County Jail is a minimum to maximum security facility located in Dayton, Ohio. The jail houses adult offenders who have been arrested and charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses.
Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while incarcerated. Inmates are allowed two 30 minute visits a week. All visits are through a video recording monitoring system. Visits can take place onsite or remotely. Visits can be scheduled through the SmartJailMail website. Available visitation days and times will be released once an account is made.
