All persons arrested by the Kenton Police Department are transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center, located in Marion, Ohio. The facility houses inmates who have been arrested for misdemeanor and felony crimes. The inmates are awaiting trial, serving out their sentence, awaiting transport to state prison or awaiting expedition to the state or county they were wanted in.
Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while they are incarcerated. Each inmate is allowed 1 thirty minute visit per week. Visitation must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Visits can be scheduled by calling the jail.
