The department is composed of 3 main divisions: administrative services, criminal investigation services, and patrol services. The administration services division is responsible for getting the accreditation for the department. This division also has the records unit. All persons arrested by the Xenia Police Department are transported to the Greene County Jail. . The Greene County Corrections is located in Xenia, Ohio. The jail is made up of 2 facilities; The Greene County Jail and the Greene County Adult Detention Center. The Greene County Jail is a full-service facility with a capacity of 130 inmates. The Greene County Adult Detention Center is a minimum to maximum security facility with a capacity of 236 inmates. Both facilities house adult inmate offenders who have been charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses.

Inmates housed in both facilities of the Greene County Corrections are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members. Each facility has different days and hours. Visits must be scheduled by the inmate.
