All persons arrested by the Steubenville Police Department are transported to the Jefferson County Jail. The Jefferson County Jail is a minimum to maximum security facility located in Steubenville, Ohio. The jail houses adult offenders who have been arrested and charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses.
Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while they are incarcerated. All visitors must have a photo identification card. Up to three people are allowed per visit. The jail does not release visitation days and hours to the public. The inmate is responsible for scheduling the visit.
