Funds can be deposited to an inmate’s account onsite or online. To deposit funds onsite, visit the kiosk located in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office. The kiosk accepts cash, credit or debit. The jail uses a 3rd party provider called InmateCanteen for depositing funds online. To deposit funds online, visit the InmateCanteen website.
Visitation Hours
Inmates are allowed to visit with their friends and family via a video recording system. Visitation can be offsite from the comfort of the visitor’s home or onsite using a kiosk located in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office. Inmate’s are allowed 1 hour of offsite visitation daily and 1 hour of onsite visitation weekly.
Monday-Sunday: 7 am to 1:45 pm and 2:15 pm to 5:30 pm
The Erie County Jail has an inmate roster that is updated daily. The roster lists every inmate in jail in alphabetical order. The inmate’s name, jail ID, booking ID, charges, bond amount and mugshot are listed on the roster.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office has a most wanted list. The list is made up of the county’s fugitives who have skipped bail or are suspected of a crime. The fugitive’s name, mugshot, identifying features and charges are listed. The office asks anyone with information regarding a fugitive to contact the Erie County Detective Bureau.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office offers a public record search. Reports can be found using a report number, party name, report type or date of incident range. If the records are not available, a record request form can be submitted in person at the Sheriff’s Office.
