Inmates are allowed to receive letters and pictures from their friends and family members. Up to 5 pictures at a time per envelope. All mail is opened and searched for contraband.

Visitation Hours

Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while incarcerated. Inmates receive 1 thirty minute visit per week. All visitors must be on an approved list. Visitation days and times are based on where the inmate is housed within the jail.

The Huron County Jail has a public inmate roster. The roster lists all inmates currently incarcerated in the jail in alphabetical order. The inmate’s name, identifying features, mugshot, charges and bond amount will be listed on the roster.
