The Morrow County Jail is a minimum to maximum security facility located in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. The jail houses female and male adult offenders who have been arrested and charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses. All inmates are either serving their sentence, awaiting trial or awaiting transfer to a state of federal prison. The facility has a capacity of 126 inmates. How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates can receive letters from their friends and family members while incarcerated. All mail is opened and searched for contraband.

Inmates can be sent packages from the OH Counties Packages website. The inmate’s name, correct booking number and housing number is needed when sending a package.

Funds can be added to an inmate’s account onsite or online. To add funds to an account onsite, visit the information window at the jail. The jail will only accept cash in person. To add funds online, visit the AccessCorrections website.

Visitation Hours

Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while incarcerated. Onsite and remote visits are available. All visitors must call the jail on Sundays between 11 am and 7pm to schedule visits.

Onsite Visitation Hours:

Female Inmates: Sundays, 1pm-3pm and 7pm-9pm
Male Inmates: Wednesdays, 1pm-3pm and 7pm-9pm
ICE Male Inmates: Saturdays, 1pm-3pm and 7pm-9pm
