How to Send Mail or Package
Inmates can receive mail from their friends and family members. Mail is sent to a 3rd party provider’s address where the mail will be scanned and then delivered to the inmate to view on a kiosk or tablet.

Funds can be added to an inmate’s commissary account online. To add money to an inmate’s account, visit the SecurusTech website. The inmate’s name and facility will be needed.
Visitation Hours
Inmates are encouraged to visit with their friends and family members while they are incarcerated. All visitation is through a video monitoring system. Visitors can use a Video Visitation terminal in the jail lobby or use their computer, tablet or smartphone remotely. Visits must be scheduled in advance using the VideoVisitAnywhere website. Visitation hours are 7 days a week from 9 am to 10 pm.
The Knox County Jail has a public jail roster which is updated weekly. The roster lists the inmates in alphabetical order. The inmate’s name, mugshot, arrest date and charges are made public.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has an active warrant list accessible to the public. The list makes the fugitive’s name and case number public. The list is posted on the Sheriff’s Office website.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for releasing traffic accident, incident and offense reports. Record requests can be submitted in person, by email or over the phone.
